The Alexandria Ceremonial Police Orchestra travel from Egypt to Israel for a performance. Due to a bureaucratic error there is no one to meet them to help them to their venue. They decide to make their own way but end up in an entirely different town than the one intended. Stuck there until morning, the bandʼs members try to settle in and get along with the locals. What follows is a special night as the band makes it impact on the town and the town on them. This poignant comedy won an award at Cannes in 2007.
