A wealthy Danish family gathers at a hotel to celebrate their patriarch Helge’s 60th birthday. However, the festive atmosphere is shattered when the eldest son, Christian, delivers a shocking speech revealing a dark secret: his father sexually abused him and his late twin sister, Linda. This revelation unleashes a torrent of repressed emotions and long-hidden family tensions, turning the celebration into a night of confrontation and painful truths. The film, shot in the Dogme 95 style, captures the raw and intense drama as the family grapples with the consequences of Christian’s accusation.
