A nightclub singer from the big city arrives, with her biker boyfriend, to take possession of the rural community’s largest house left to her by an eccentric grandfather. She hasn’t the faintest idea what she is getting into, but blithely pursues a serene course through the suspicions and bigotry surrounding her and becomes a convenient catalyst for all the hidden conflicts.
