Kneecap wins a BAFTA

Our next film, “Kneecap“, on Wednesday 19th February, has just won a BAFTA for Outstanding debut by a British writer, director or producer – Rich Peppiatt.

“Kneecap” is a gritty, darkly comedic Irish film following a rap trio from Belfast. Fueled by rebellion and satire, they use music to challenge societal norms, blending humour and raw energy to explore identity, politics, and cultural resistance.

Labelled by Kemi Badenoch as “Anti-British” they overcame her attempts, as Business Secretary, to remove an arts grant awarded to them.

Be aware, if you are easily offended by bad language or scenes of drug taking, this may not be the film for you.
