Forced to leave their structurally insecure house, they rent an apartment from a fellow performer, unaware of the property’s history. One night, an incident linked to the previous tenant occurs that threatens to change their lives forever. Concerned with the clash of modern culture and traditional conservative values that define Iranian society, Farhadi has crafted another psychological and moral drama that transcends borders to get to the heart of humanity.
