A thriller set in the world of illegal immigrants. Okwe (Chiwetel Ejiofor), a kindly Nigerian doctor, lives with a Turkish asylum seeker, Senay (Audrey Tautou). During the day he works as a taxi driver and, at night, as a porter at a shady hotel run by Senor Sneaky. The hotel is home to dirty business such as prostitution and drug dealing. However, when Okwe finds a human heart in one of the toilets, he uncovers something far more sinister and that Senay is in danger. The screenplay received an Oscar nomination in 2004.
