Confident and forthright Juno (Ellen Page) has her life thrown off kilter when a one-off encounter on a chair with Paulie Bleeker leaves her pregnant. She decides to go through with the pregnancy. She sets off to find an adoptive couple, with the support of her parents and help of her best friend, Leah. She finds the perfect prospective parents in the Lorings, yuppie suburbanites. As the birth draws closer Juno faces some very adult decisions. This coming-of-age comedy features a terrific breakthrough performance from Page and won an Oscar for Best Screenplay in 2008.
