Weronika, a talented young singer in Poland, dies suddenly from a heart condition during a concert. Meanwhile, in France, Véronique, her identical double, experiences a strange sense of loss and decides to abandon her singing career. Unaware of each other’s existence, their lives are mysteriously connected. Véronique embarks on a journey of self-discovery, exploring love and her own path as she grapples with an inexplicable feeling of absence and a lingering sense of fate. The film is a poetic and enigmatic exploration of identity, destiny, and the invisible threads that connect us.
